Creating Order; Step One

When it comes to moving, there is no doubt that things become much more chaotic before there is any hope of order. I have moved often enough in this lifetime to know this. That doesn't stop it from being a rude shock every time it happens! I can say, with complete accuracy, that I am firmly in the Chaos stage.
I have managed to downsize sufficiently (I think), but there is still the old brain needing to learn the new places that I have put things. My brain holds memories of where things are in many different times and places, in many different states and towns. There is no easy solution, except to own as little as possible, and Dear Lord, don't leave it on the floor to trip over! It's only been a little over a week, and when I wake up to pee at 3AM, I remember where I am, and more importantly, where the bathroom is! Having MS doesn't make things any easier, though it does have a built-in "it's-time-to-rest-dear" alarm. Where is my cane? Where is the battery charger? Where are the memory cards that just came? Life is never so much a puzzle as when in the middle of a move.

Take it from Thomas, a pretty afghan on a comfy bed can make the world just fine!
