Suesday's Twosday: Baby, I'm Amazed

   

          If you think of the word "scarf", what comes to mind?
          I love how crochet can be so many things, even within a particular genre. Since I myself am prone to mood shifting, it isn't unusual that I would be charmed by a neutral lady-like scarf, as well as by a colorful, quintessentially handcrafted look. I've been known to be polite and serene. I've also been known to be a bad-ass hippy chick.
           Although Lion Brand's Beautiful You is an acrylic yarn, it has a wonderful, soft, and silky hand. Just feeling this scarf makes me think- design a shell with this!  Vanna's Choice, the love-her-madly basic yarn is just so easy to work with and wear, but adding Totally Tubular to that brew, makes it way beyond basic.
           How wonderful it is to have creative designing friends to come up with these delightful pieces!
