Too Old for this Crap!
There was a 5.8 earthquake in Puerto Rico in the wee hours of this morning. In times of stress and panic, I become very Catholic, my mother's Hail Mary learning uppermost in the primitive part of my brain. I remember the cavalier attitude I had about Maria as it approached- it took living through it and being there afterwards to adjust my attitude. Now, I'm older and know better about natural disasters, and no longer have the luxury of feeling like I dodged a bullet in this snowy upstate N.Y. town. I have friends there, and while I am not a worrier, I'm worrying.
Prayers for those I left behind.
